Tasmanian elite shooter Nash Walker commits to Marquette University.

Tasmanian native Nash Walker has committed to Marquette University, joining the Golden Eagles' 2026 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-6 left-handed shooting guard from the NBA Global Academy, and currently playing for Centre of Excellence in NBL1, is known for his perimeter shooting and bringing a deep international experience at the junior level.

Walker's international career includes representing Australia in multiple FIBA tournaments, including at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup, he averaged 8.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game, shooting 38.5% from three-point range.

Although his playing time was limited at the recently-completed 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup, his selection as an underage talent at 17 years of age highlights the belief Basketball Australia has in him.

Walker's commitment to Marquette adds a promising talent to the Golden Eagles' roster, joining fellow recruits Ethan Johnston and Sheek Pearson.
