Central Districts had six players score in double figures while Koop McCalop led all scorers with 29 points for North Adelaide in a losing effort. The Sabres controlled the glass with a 49-40 rebounding advantage while forcing 17 turnovers. Despite Riley Harrap's 20 points and Walter Mcbride's 18 points for Norwood, Sturt's superior efficiency from three-point range (42.3% compared to Norwood's dismal 24.1%) proved decisive in securing the 16-point victory.
