Preston Purifoy delivered a stellar 24-point performance as Manly Warringah secured an 88-81 win against Newcastle at Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre. Purifoy shot an impressive 9-from-18 from the field, including 3-from-8 from beyond the arc, while collecting six rebounds and five steals. Matthew Eldridge registered a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds for the home side.

In a tightly contested battle featuring 23 lead changes, Manly's defence proved critical, forcing 19 Newcastle turnovers while committing just 10 of their own. Leo O'Boyle led Newcastle with 20 points on 8-from-17 shooting, supported by Myles Cherry's 19 points and nine rebounds. The Warringah squad overcame a shooting slump from deep, hitting just 25.9 percent of their three-point attempts but converting at a solid 95.8 percent from the charity stripe.

Biwali Bayles complemented with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds while dishing out nine assists.

Despite Penrith's Brodie Schwarzer connecting on six triples for 20 points and Zeke Evans contributing a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds, Sydney maintained control for much of the contest. The visitors led for over 39 minutes, though their disappointing 47.4 percent free-throw shooting (9-from-19) kept the door open for Penrith. Sydney's balanced attack featured Anthony Mundine adding 16 points, including 4-from-8 from downtown, proving crucial in the victory.

Garric Young posted a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, including seven offensive boards, helping Central Coast control second-chance opportunities in a tightly contested matchup.

The battle featured 24 lead changes and 10 ties, with Kouat Noi leading Sutherland with 21 points, nine rebounds, and two assists in the losing effort. Central Coast overcame Sutherland's superior rebounding (49-40) by forcing 19 turnovers and capitalising with efficient shooting. Geoffrey Gerlach was perfect from the field for Sutherland, scoring 16 points on 7-from-7 shooting, but it wasn't enough as Central Coast maintained its composure down the stretch.

Mandrell Worthy poured in 24 points as Maitland secured a hard-fought 87-83 victory against Inner West at Maitland Federation Centre. Worthy shot 8-from-17 from the field, including a stellar 4-from-6 from beyond the arc, while adding six rebounds and two steals. James Hunter provided a significant boost off the bench with 15 points in just 15 minutes of action.

Inner West's Andrew Swanson led his team with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Nicko Timonera and Dalen Ridgnal each added 15 points in the losing effort. The winners placed five players in double figures, including Akil Douglas and Alexander Sidhu with 19 points each. Hornsby's offence was clicking at all levels, connecting on 43.2 percent from three-point range (16-from-37) while forcing 24 turnovers that led to 19 points. Matthew Gray added 23 points for Albury Wodonga in a game that saw Hornsby lead by as many as 38 points.

Cameron Pender recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds as Canberra edged Illawarra 93-85 at Belconnen Basketball Stadium. Pender was efficient, shooting 6-from-10 from the field while grabbing five offensive rebounds that led to 11 second-chance points. Derek Emelifeonwu added 17 points on 7-from-12 shooting, including 3-from-6 from downtown.

In a seesaw battle featuring 31 lead changes and 10 ties, Todd Blanchfield led Illawarra with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Lachlan Dent contributed 18 points, including four three-pointers. Canberra's 18-8 advantage in free throw attempts proved decisive, as did their 18-14 edge in second-chance points. William Mayfield added 13 points and nine rebounds for Canberra, who improved their position in the standings with the hard-fought victory.
