Leah Scott powered Logan to a hard-fought 100-93 overtime victory against Cairns with a dominant 26-point, 13-rebound double-double at Bendigo Bank Cornubia Park Sports Centre. Scott shot an impressive 53% from the field and went a perfect 7-from-7 from the free-throw line, while Amandine Toi added 22 points on 50% shooting, including 4-from-7 from three-point range.

Cairns was led by Mia Loyd's 25 points and nine rebounds, with Summah Evans (19 points) and Cayla George (18 points, 15 rebounds) providing strong support. The contest featured 20 lead changes and was tied five times, showcasing the competitive balance between the teams. Logan's dominance on the boards (57-41 rebounding advantage) and near-perfect free-throw shooting (95%) ultimately secured the win despite Cairns connecting on 41% of their three-point attempts.

Jessica McDowell-White delivered a masterful 26-point performance as Southern Districts outclassed Mackay 96-79 at Rowland Cowan Stadium. McDowell-White shot an efficient 58% from the field, including 4-from-11 from deep, while Nicole Fransson contributed 20 points and nine rebounds. The Spartans dominated the assist column with 32 helpers compared to Mackay's 18, showcasing their superior ball movement and team chemistry.

Despite the loss, Mackay received solid contributions from Unique Thompson (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Cheyenne Bobongie (16 points). Southern Districts connected on 41% of their three-point attempts while holding Mackay to just 31% from outside. Emily Preston's all-round effort of 14 rebounds, seven assists, and three steals helped the Spartans control the tempo throughout the contest.
