Knox matched Geelong's first-quarter output with 18 points to 19. However, the Raiders shifted momentum decisively in the second quarter, outscoring Geelong 22-14 to take a 40-33 lead into halftime. This pattern continued after the break, with Knox extending their advantage by outscoring Geelong 18-13 in the third quarter before delivering a dominant 26-18 final period to seal the championship.
Paige Bradley orchestrated Knox's attack with exceptional poise, accumulating 20 points on efficient 9-from-16 shooting, including two three-pointers, while distributing seven assists. Her leadership was particularly evident during a crucial third-quarter stretch when Knox built their lead to double digits.
The championship performance featured stellar contributions across Knox's roster. Alicia Froling delivered a dominant interior presence with 15 points and 13 rebounds on outstanding 5-from-9 shooting. Agnes Emma-Nnopu provided a championship-defining performance off the bench with 12 points and 11 rebounds on remarkable 5-from-6 shooting, including 2-from-3 from beyond the arc.

Geelong's offense struggled throughout, shooting a dismal 28.36% from the field (19-from-67) compared to Knox's excellent 50% (31-from-62). This shooting disparity proved decisive, as Knox converted at an impressive 59.09% rate on two-point attempts (26-from-44). Despite Geelong captain Jaz Shelley's determined 19-point effort and Hannah Hank's impressive 16-rebound performance, their team couldn't overcome Knox's superior efficiency.
The rebounding battle remained competitive with Knox securing 44 boards to Geelong's 41, but Knox's defensive intensity limited Geelong to just five successful three-pointers from 26 attempts (19.23%). Meanwhile, Knox matched that output with five three-pointers but on only 18 attempts.
Knox's balanced attack featured five players scoring nine or more points, while Geelong relied heavily on Shelley, Hank, and the 11-point contributions from both Lilly Rotunno and Dakota Crichton. The Raiders' bench provided a significant advantage, outscoring Geelong's reserves 26-0, with Emma-Nnopu, Kristy Wallace (nine points), and Katelyn Young (five points) all making valuable contributions.
This championship victory represents the culmination of a stellar season for Knox, who demonstrated championship poise and execution when it mattered most, while Geelong will look to build on their strong campaign despite falling short in the decisive final.
