Knicks show interest in Ben Simmons as the 29-year-old weighs up his NBA future.

The NBA career of Ben Simmons remains uncertain, with the New York Knicks emerging as one of two NBA teams showing interest in the former All-Star.

According to reports from the New York Post, the Knicks view Simmons as a potential option to bolster their depth at point guard, valuing his defensive versatility and athleticism. Another franchise has also expressed interest, but the decision may ultimately rest with Simmons himself.

The Melbourne-born guard, who finished last season with the LA Clippers, has battled injuries and extended stints on the sidelines in recent seasons.

Despite earning more than $200 million over his career, questions are being raised about whether the 29-year-old is ready to continue competing at the highest level.

Should Simmons pass on the opportunities in front of him, his path back into the league could narrow significantly, leaving his future in the NBA unclear.
