Next Stars go down in Adidas Eurocamp final
Next Star Malique Lewis claimed an All-Eurocamp Starting 5 spot as the team went down in the final.

The NBL Next Stars team of some of basketball's best young global talent has gone down in the final over the Adidas Eurocamp overnight, losing to 3SSB Select 84-77.
The 3SSB Select team featureed some of the top-ranked prospects from across the Unites States, including Caleb Holt (Grayson High School), Bruce Branch III (Perry High School), Taylen Kinney (Overtime Elite) and Deron Rippey Jr. (Blair Academy).
SEM Phoenix Next Star Malique Lewis was one of the standout performers for Phil Handy’s team in the Final, as the talented 20-year-old scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Lewis, who is currently projected to fall just outside the 2nd Round of the NBA Draft, was later named to the All-Eurocamp Starting 5.
The Next Stars team was highlighted by some of Australia's best young talent at NBL level, including Owen Foxwell, as well as those starring at junior level at national championships, such as Antonio Browne (NSW) and Jai Fa'ale (VIC).
Outside of the Next Stars team, Tasmanian Reyne Smith lit up the final game of his tournament with an impressive stat line of 28 points, with 8 3-pointers. Playing for the EuroCamp1 exhibition team, Smith led the team to a win over the EuroCamp 2 team, 109-73. Smith, who finished his collegiate career in March as a senior at Louisville, is in the midst of finding his next team.
