New Canberra Capitals signing and Australian Opal Zitina Aokuso delivered a phenomenal triple-double performance, powering Willetton to a hard-fought 92-84 overtime victory against East Perth at Willetton Basketball Stadium. The dominant centre recorded 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 14 assists, controlling every aspect of the game despite committing eight turnovers. Desiree Kelley added 20 points including four three-pointers, while Eva Langton contributed 19 points with solid perimeter shooting.

The contest featured seven lead changes and three ties, showcasing the competitive nature of both teams. East Perth held a 10-point advantage at one stage and received strong performances from Abby Cubilo (21 points), Sasha Goodlett (19 points, 13 rebounds), and Madison Torresin (17 points). However, Willetton's superior shooting proved decisive, connecting on 45.3% of their field goals compared to East Perth's 34.9%. The Tigers also displayed exceptional ball movement with 29 assists, overcoming their 24 turnovers to secure the victory in the extra period.

The Flames asserted their dominance early, building a lead that grew as large as 34 points. Rockingham's offensive execution was outstanding, recording 29 assists on 34 made field goals while shooting an impressive 38.5% from three-point range. SW Slammers' Mykea Gray delivered a stellar individual performance with 28 points, eight assists, and five steals, but it wasn't enough to overcome Rockingham's all-round team effort and superior shooting.

The Cockburn Cougars (7-4) secured a convincing 84-65 win against Lakeside Lightning (3-8) at Lakeside Recreation Centre. Sarah Mortensen recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while centre Jessie Edwards matched her with 14 points and 11 boards of her own. Stephanie Gorman added a game-high 21 points including five triples for the victorious Cougars.

Cockburn's defense proved to be the difference, forcing 18 turnovers and converting them into 14 points. The Cougars were clinical from beyond the arc, shooting 37% compared to Lakeside's dismal 23.3%. Teige Morrell fought valiantly for Lakeside, recording a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, but the Lightning struggled to generate consistent offense against Cockburn's smothering defense.

The Perth Redbacks (8-3) outlasted the Eastern Suns (2-9) 97-83 at Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre behind Natalie Chou's outstanding 25-point performance. Chou was on fire from distance, connecting on 4-from-7 from beyond the arc. Anneli Maley dominated across the board with a triple-double threat of 24 points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists for Perth.

Eastern Suns' Karly Murphy was exceptional in defeat, pouring in 26 points and cleaning the glass with 17 rebounds. Her teammate Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant added 22 points and 10 rebounds, but Perth's superior depth and 82.5% free throw shooting (33-from-40) ultimately proved decisive. The Redbacks' tenacious defense generated 12 steals, helping them maintain control throughout the contest despite Eastern's valiant effort.
