Townsville Heat 107 def Rockhampton Rockets 97 — Watch the Replay

Kuany Kuany delivered a stellar 24-point performance as the Townsville Heat secured a hard-fought 107-97 victory against the Rockhampton Rockets at Townsville StarFM Stadium. Kuany shot an efficient 47.4 percent from the field while adding eight rebounds and two steals to his impressive stat line. The Heat's offense flowed smoothly throughout the contest, recording 27 assists compared to the Rockets' 18, with Ethan Betts orchestrating the attack with a game-high 11 assists.

The Heat showcased their three-point shooting ability, connecting on 18 triples at an outstanding 46.2 percent clip. Richard Peachey was particularly effective from beyond the arc, hitting five of his eight attempts (62.5 percent) on his way to 17 points. Townsville built their lead to as many as 27 points during the game, though Rockhampton fought back behind strong performances from Jalen Graham (24 points, 66.7 percent shooting) and Malcolm Bernard (22 points, 72.7 percent efficiency). Despite the Rockets' valiant effort, Townsville's balanced scoring attack with five players in double figures proved too much to overcome.

Reuben Te Rangi detonated for 30 points as Gold Coast edged out SW Metro 96-93 at Hibiscus Sports Stadium in a thrilling contest that featured 31 lead changes. Te Rangi was outstanding from the field, shooting 66.7 percent while adding three rebounds. Preston Le Gassick provided stellar support with 27 points and seven rebounds, while Boston Mazlin contributed 14 points and a game-high eight assists.

The contest was incredibly tight throughout, with neither team leading by more than eight points. The teams were deadlocked 12 times during the match. Ben Volkman led SW Metro with 19 points on 66.7 percent shooting and eight rebounds, while Lachlan Anderson and Jarred Bairstow added 17 and 15 points respectively. Dragan Stajic recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists as SW Metro shot a solid 34.5 percent from three-point range.

Rockhampton 83 def Cairns 80 — Watch the Replay

Jalen Graham recorded a dominant double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds as Rockhampton secured an 83-80 win against Cairns at Trinity Ford Stadium. Malcolm Bernard contributed 15 points, eight assists and four steals, while Isaac Ayoubi added 17 points and five steals for the victors, who shot 43.3 percent from the field and forced 24 turnovers.

Despite the loss, Kody Stattmann was exceptional for Cairns with a monster double-double, posting 31 points and 15 rebounds while adding four assists. Stattmann shot an efficient 52.2 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from three-point range. His brother Ky Stattmann and Travis Drinnan each contributed 14 points, but Cairns couldn't overcome their turnover troubles, giving the ball away 24 times which led to 15 points for Rockhampton.

Tamuri Wigness delivered a sensational double-double with 30 points and 11 assists as Southern Districts outlasted Ipswich 118-110 at JBS Stadium. Wigness shot 52.6 percent from the field and added eight rebounds and five steals in a complete performance. Blake Jones was equally impressive with 27 points and nine rebounds on 64.7 percent shooting, while Max Kerle added 19 points and seven boards.

Ipswich's Lamar Patterson was outstanding in defeat, pouring in 38 points on 66.7 percent shooting while adding seven rebounds and five steals. Ngor Nai was electric from beyond the arc, connecting on six three-pointers en route to 25 points, and DJ Mitchell recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists. The game was a shootout featuring 43 lead changes, with Southern Districts dominating inside, scoring 70 points in the paint compared to Ipswich's 42.

Sunshine Coast 88 def Brisbane 83 — Watch the Replay

Jamaal Robateau scored 20 points including five three-pointers as Sunshine Coast defeated Brisbane 88-83 at Maroochydore Stadium. Robateau shot a stellar 55.6 percent from beyond the arc and added five rebounds and six assists. Earnest Ross and Erik Kafritsas each contributed 15 points, while Darnell Robateau added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Phoenix.

Samuel McDaniel led all Brisbane scorers with 24 points and five rebounds, while Uche Dibiamaka added 16 points. Cameron Thew recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, including five offensive boards. Despite Brisbane winning the rebounding battle 47-42 and holding a lead for over 27 minutes, Sunshine Coast's efficient three-point shooting (43.3 percent) and 17 assists proved decisive in the five-point victory.
