Definitive guide to the 2025 NBL Blitz and NBL1 National Championships in Canberra, ACT

It's 20 minutes in the car — 22.6km — between Southern Cross Stadium and AIS Arena in Canberra.

Day one and two of the NBL Blitz pre-season tournament are stand-alone double-headers but Friday and Saturday are jam-packed with EIGHT GAMES each day while Sunday features four games including the NBL1 Men's and Women's National Championship Grand Finals.

There are six NBL1 clashes and two NBL Blitz games on Friday, the same on Saturday and two NBL on Sunday as well as the NBL1 Grand Finals.

The NBL and NBL1 have scheduled the combined tournament will only have limited clashes and no clashes between the NBL1 Grand Finals on Sunday and the double-header between the Sydney Kings and South East Melbourne Phoenix followed by the New Zealand Breakers versus the Cairns Taipans.

  • NBL1 Men: Canberra Gunners v Sandringham Sabres — 2pm at Southern Cross Stadium (C1)
  • NBL1 Men: Geraldton Buccaneers v West Adelaide Bearcats — 3.30pm at Southern Cross Stadium (C2)
  • NBL1 Men: Illawarra Hawks v Southern Districts Spartans — 4pm at Southern Cross Stadium (C1)
  • NBL: South East Melbourne Phoenix vs New Zealand Breakers5.30pm at AIS Arena
  • NBL: Illawarra Hawks vs Perth Wildcats 8pm AEST at AIS Arena
