Alex Toohey was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 52nd pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Toohey joined the NBL’s Next Stars Program and signed with the Sydney Kings in 2023. During his first season, he played 29 games, averaging 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds. He won the NBL Next Generation Award in 2025.
